We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our Recruitment and Sourcing team as a Social Media Engagement Intern. This role is perfect for someone passionate about social media, digital marketing, and community building. Job Responsibilities

Content Creation:

  • Develop engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall brand messaging and marketing strategies.

Community Engagement:

  1. Monitor social media channels to actively engage with our audience, respond to comments, and initiate conversations.

  2. Identify and engage with relevant influencers, partners, and industry leaders to expand our online network.

Social Listening:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and conversations to identify opportunities for relevant and timely engagement.

  • Monitor brand mentions and sentiment on social media, and report insights to the team.

Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and user engagement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all channels.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track and analyze performance metrics.

  • Prepare regular reports on social media engagement, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Brand Advocacy:

  1. Identify and nurture brand advocates among our followers and customers.

  2. Encourage user-generated content and amplify positive customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field).

  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools.

  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and a team player.


System Requirements

  • At least 15mbps for main internet and at least 10mbps for backup

  • A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup

  • Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption

  • A webcam

  • Noise-canceling USB Headset

  • Quiet, Dedicated Home Office

  • Smartphone
