Your Role

As a Graduate or Associate Copywriter, you will play a pivotal role in telling Canonical's story across multiple platforms. You'll collaborate with product and marketing managers to produce high-quality content that resonates with our audience and drives our content strategy. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse content that spans from IoT and cloud to data centers and desktops, reflecting the breadth of Canonical’s open-source impact.


What You'll Do

  • Content Creation: Write engaging content for Canonical to deepen understanding of our product portfolio.

  • Content Review: Provide feedback on content to support our product and marketing teams in crafting compelling narratives.

  • Strategy Implementation: Map the buyer’s journey and develop a content strategy that optimizes this path.

  • Editorial Management: Maintain an editorial calendar, providing progress updates to the broader team.

  • Performance Audits: Conduct content performance audits to gauge effectiveness and refine strategies.

  • Planning Sessions: Participate in quarterly content planning sessions to align with team goals.


What We're Looking For

  • Passion for Technology: A strong interest in technology, ideally with a focus on open source.

  • Writing Skills: Ability to produce authoritative and engaging content. A portfolio of written work is required.

  • Persuasive Copy: An appreciation for crafting persuasive and impactful copy.
