Lowa State University (ISU) is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community of scholars. As part of this commitment, ISU offers a variety of merit scholarships to incoming freshmen and transfer students. These scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, leadership potential, extracurricular involvement, and other distinguishing factors.
The Iowa State University Merit Scholarships are now open for interested and qualified students who are eligible to study in the United States of America.
The scholarship is an award of up to $40,000 to successful candidates who have been offered admission and will not be receiving financial sponsorship through their home country’s government for four (4) years.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the Iowa State University Scholarships, you must:
Have been given admission into Lowa State University
Not be receiving financial sponsorship through their home country’s government are eligible for this award.
Be an international student
Have been offered admission
The following criteria must be met during your Iowa State career to maintain the scholarship:
Minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 while enrolled at Iowa State
Continuous enrollment in a minimum of 12 semester credits each semester (summers not included)
Only students assessed non-resident tuition are eligible for this award
The award may only be used toward undergraduate tuition and fees

Up to $40,000 ($5,000/yr-$10,000/yr)
