Your Mission

Your work will involve real content and information, with a focus on typography, color, layout, usability, accessibility, and adherence to web standards.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
As a Junior UX Designer at Canonical:
Collaborate with a Multi-Disciplinary Team: Work alongside visual designers, UX experts, and engineers to create impactful web projects.
Design with Purpose: Craft designs that enhance the usability and accessibility of our products, grounded in solid design principles.
Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing learning and adaptation to stay current with the latest design trends and innovations.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
Educational Background: Excellent academic results with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in User Experience, Design, or a STEM field.
Experience: Agency, company, or freelance design experience that demonstrates your skills and commitment to user experience.
Skills and Attributes
Passion for Design: A strong interest in UX, technology, and design with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Drive and Determination: A proactive attitude towards completing work and celebrating achievements.
User Research Expertise: Confidence in conducting user research and applying findings to your designs.
