What You’ll Do

The Lifecycle of a Quant Project

Your journey as a Quantitative Researcher begins with a spark of an idea. This idea could originate from anywhere: your own insights, a mentor’s guidance, or even a casual conversation in the cafeteria. Here's what your typical project lifecycle looks like:

  1. Exploration: Dive into market data using advanced tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming to investigate the idea.

  2. Discovery: Through your research, uncover new patterns that could evolve into trading signals.

  3. Collaboration: Partner with technologists to backtest and refine your results, integrating the trading signal into our strategies.

  4. Optimization: Continuously research and enhance the strategy’s performance.

  5. Feedback & Innovation: Engage with fellow researchers, strategists, and traders to gather feedback and brainstorm fresh ideas. This often leads to new quant projects, starting the cycle anew.

Our comprehensive orientation program will bridge the gap between academia and industry, covering topics like options pricing, proprietary data sets, and data analysis techniques. Beyond orientation, our trading floor offers endless opportunities for learning and development.
