The Daniels Scholarship Program assists deserving and driven students in realizing their dream of attending college.

By offering a comprehensive support network and financial assistance to students from a select few states, it fosters the next generation of leaders committed to making a good impact on their communities and enabling them to realize their collegiate ambitions.


By offering financial aid for a college education, this award assists recent high school graduates from Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming in realizing their academic and career goals.

Eligibility

  • Be a graduating high school senior.

  • Be a resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming.

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

  • Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 (unweighted).

  • Meet minimum SAT (490 Math, 490 Evidence-Based Reading & Writing) or ACT (18 in each category) scores.

  • Demonstrate financial need with an Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $100,000 or less on the 2023 federal tax return, allowing for additional income based on the number of dependents.


Benefit of Scholarship

The Daniels Scholarship, along with generous contributions from partner schools, covers the full cost of attendance (COA) at partner schools within Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Scholars that choose to attend a school outside our 4-state region receive up to $25,000 a year for qualified educational expenses.Funds can be used towards:

  • Tuition and fees

  • Room and board

  • Books and supplies

  • Miscellaneous educational expenses

Daniels Scholars also receive a laptop computer and support before, during, and after college. $7,500 annually for schools within four-state region outside of partnership agreements.


Application Open and Closing Date

Applications must be submitted online through the application website between September 16 and October 18, 2024.
