Your Role as a Software QA Intern
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll play an essential part in maintaining the high standards of our software products:
System Specifications Review: Analyze system specifications and business requirements to develop effective test strategies and plans.
API Testing: Use Postman to test APIs, ensuring they function as expected and meet our quality standards.
Test Execution: Execute test cases, both manual and automated, and analyze results to identify and document any defects.
Bug Reporting: Create logs to document testing phases and report bugs and errors to development teams, facilitating quick resolution.
Troubleshooting: Help troubleshoot issues and conduct post-release or post-implementation testing to verify that fixes are effective.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
Experience or Interest: Some experience or a strong interest in quality assurance or similar roles.
Project Management Skills: Experience in project management and QA methodology is beneficial.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile frameworks, regression testing, test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr), and SQL.
Attention to Detail: Excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong organizational skills.
Educational Background: Pursuing a BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Additional Requirements
Availability: Able to work Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern Standard Time, with flexibility to work outside traditional local hours if needed.
Language Proficiency: High level of English proficiency (CEFR scale or equivalent).
Scrum Familiarity: Knowledge of Scrum is a plus.
